TERM ONE

TERM ONE
During Term One our focus for all of Stage Door's school aged classes is on on establishing connections and creating a safe and fun classroom environment where we hope our students will be able to relax, have fun and grown in confidence and skill throughout the year. We take time at the start of each new year to get to know each other, play games and invest in activities designed to promote connection, team work and fun. We find prioritizing this to be absolutely vital to establishing a vibrant, safe, happy class culture and environment inline which aligns with our tag line that Stage Door is a place "Where Everyone Belongs". 

As well as getting to know each other and establishing a supportive class culture, during Term One our Chookas students will focus on identifying, learning about and practicing three of the important 'tools' they have in their acting toolboxes: 
Faces; Bodies; and Voices.
