It was so great to get back into classes for the term! 
This week we learned that our new song will be A Million Dreams. 
This beautiful ballad was written by musical theatre song writing duo Benj Pasek and Justin Paul for the 2017 film The Greatest Showman, where it was performed by Ziv Zaifman, Hugh Jackman, and Michelle Williams. 
The song speaks of the power of imagination, and chasing after your dreams. It is uplifting, hopeful, passionate and optimistic - perfect themes for our young singers to be thinking on and singing about!

Homework this week is to think about the lyrics of the song, which are beautifully poetic and paint beautiful pictures. 
Students have been asked to consider the lyrics and to choose a favorite. 
At our next class on Monday 4 May (no class on Monday 27 April due to the Anzac Day Public Holiday) we will share our favorite lyrics and explain why they appeal to us.
