A message from the tutor: 

Our focus in class this week was EXPRESSING EMOTION & STORY TELLING WHILE SINGING. 
We learnt how to formulate our own story for a song that we can understand and convey to the audience.

We talked through our current song 'Rise Up' line by line, agreeing and listing what emotions we (as the singer) are going through at each moment of the song. 
We sang through small portions of our song testing different emotions to see what fitted best.

Next week we will focus on finishing the song so we can add another song to our term 3 repetoire. 
Homework this week is to keep up the practice at home of “Something in the Water” with our percussion work, and to know all of the words off by heart for “Rise Up” by next week!

A reminder to keep bringing all your lyrics and resources to every lesson. Even once we know the lyrics we will keep referring to them and making in notes and changes.

Congrats on an amazing lesson, there was some really cool acting going on this week!
