Darcy Tidd

Darcy Tidd officially joins the Stage Door tutoring team in 2026. 
Having grown up in and around the theatre and at Stage Door, and being a natural at connecting with and supporting youngsters, Darce is the perfect addition to our Stage Door team!

Darcy has been a student at Stage Door Classes since she could first walk, when she joined Twinklers - our classes for preschoolers. She now takes classes in Musical Theatre, Drama and Musical Theatre Dance, and loves it all! Although passionate about all aspects of theatre, it is Drama/Acting that is her #1 joy. 

Darce has been involved in several theatre productions including Stage Door’s Junior productions of Annie, Aladdin & Newsies, her school production of Te Wai Pounamu and Theatre Whakatāne’s 2025 pantomime Sleeping Beauty.
 

Darcy joins the Stage Door team as an assistant tutor in our youngest primary classes for both Musical Theatre and Drama classes.
